Wealth Manager
Mr. Evan Davies joined Praetorian Guard in November 2024 as a Wealth Manager after 20 years of active duty service spanning responsibilities from tactical combat leadership to pioneering data science.
Evan’s experiences in the U.S. Army began with combat leadership roles in both Armor and Reconnaissance units. He held an Assistant Professorship at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point teaching economics, money and banking, and personal finance. Evan’s data science leadership and contributions covered roles in the Pentagon and US Cyber Command where his career culminated as the Chief Financial Data Officer. He still serves the Army in a pro-bono position as the Independent Investment Professional on the Army Banking and Investment Fund’s Oversite Committee, a position held since 2017.
Evan earned a Bachelors of Science in Economics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point (2005), an MBA from Harvard Business School (2014), and a Masters of Science in financial planning from the College for Financial Planning (2016). He has been a Certified Financial Planner® since 2016. He served as a contributing editor to the Armed Forces Financial Guide in 2020.
At Praetorian Guard, Evan is primarily responsible for comprehensive financial planning and wealth management for his client families.
