Ashley Gardiner

Wealth Manager

Mr. Ashley Gardiner joined Praetorian Guard in October 2025 as a Wealth Manager after 22 years of active duty service spanning responsibilities from tactical combat leadership to data-driven human capital and talent management.

Ashley’s experiences in the U.S. Army began with combat leadership roles in Aviation units and he spent most of his career as a leader in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) where he served in multiple positions including as an MH-47G Chinook Company Commander and Battalion Executive Officer. Ashley spent the last five years of his career at the United States Military Academy at West Point where he served as an economics instructor, serving as the course director for Principles of Economics and International Economics. Since 2022, Ashley worked in the Army’s Office of Economic and Manpower Analysis where he served as the Army’s Talent-Based Branching Program Manager, a data-driven, human-capital management program responsible for assigning over 4,000 cadets to their Army occupations annually.

Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Vermont (2003), an MA in Management from Webster University (2014), and an MBA from Harvard Business School (2020).  He is enrolled in the Certified Financial Planner® education program and holds a Series 65 license.

At Praetorian Guard, Ashley is primarily responsible for comprehensive financial planning and wealth management for his client families. He is married to Erin Gardiner, herself an Army veteran, and they have three daughters, Reagan, Jane, and Kate.
